1. Information We Collect
Thrive is designed to work primarily locally on your device. We collect the minimum information necessary:
Information you provide directly:
- Name entered during onboarding (stored locally)
- Sport and motivation mode selected (stored locally)
- Notification and reminder preferences (stored locally)
- Daily streak and usage statistics (stored locally)
- Saved favourite quotes (stored locally)
All of this information is stored exclusively on your device using AsyncStorage and is never sent to our servers.
Information automatically collected:
- Subscription and payment data processed through RevenueCat and Apple's payment systems
- Basic technical data (app version, operating system) for error monitoring
2. Subscription Data
If you purchase Thrive Premium, payment processing is handled through Apple App Store and RevenueCat. We do not have access to your payment details or credit card information.

3. Notifications
Thrive can send you local notifications with motivational quotes based on your chosen configuration. These notifications are scheduled directly on your device and do not require an internet connection or data transmission to external servers.
You can disable notifications at any time from Settings → Notifications → Thrive on your iPhone.
4. Analytics and Third Parties
Thrive does not use third-party analytics tools that collect behavioural data. We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third party.
The only third-party service we use is RevenueCat for subscription management. No other external service has access to your data.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access all your data — it is on your device, always available to you
- Delete your data — uninstall the app and all local data is erased
- Cancel your subscription at any time without penalty
- Contact us for any privacy-related questions
6. European Users (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union, you have the following additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Right of access (Article 15): Obtain confirmation of data processing and access to your data

Thrive is not directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not use this application. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us immediately.
8. Data Security
Since all personal data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data depends on your device's own security measures. We do not transmit personal data to external servers, which significantly reduces the risk of data breaches on our end.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Your continued use of Thrive after changes take effect implies acceptance of the updated policy.
